This granny has a secret! She knows if I'm a boy or a girl. But she promised she wouldn't tell or Pixi woun't let her come to a ultrasound anymore! She took a quick peek on the 16 week checkup at the doctor. Oh and this granny, she's a spoiler! She's given me a nice Pooh-bear suite and a lot of baby deluxes! Thank you granny! I could finally get a few pictures taken with my boepie. There's finally a nice round tummy to show off. The one morning I was really blown away... I went to bed with a flat tummy and woke up with a preggie tum. It was so nice, I couldn't stop giving Nunu hugs. I had a whole conversation with Nunu telling baby how much I love feeling tiny feet and fluttering inside me. The proof is out - and every morning after a shower is Nunu time, Nunu gets a nice belly rub with some special cream that smells nice and then me and Nunu talk 'bout what's happening and how we gonna face another day of adventure finding out about each other. Oh I love my boepie!!!

Dizzy, when I stand up to quickly and baby gets first choice where bloodflow is concerned... ok, ok ....1,2,3,4,5.... There, I can see again, and walk... I've now learned the art of getting up slowly from the couch and not jumping out of bed. I'm getting there! I've also had a slight scare of ending up in hospital due to dehidration, as I get the worst megranes ever (with all the side effects)! I'm prone to headaches, but this was the worst. Luckily hubby was by my side, very worried I might add. He stood outside for 5 hours while the not-so-fast ER crew tended to all around me and then me, as I was the "least critical". Well, all's well that ends well and I'm looking after myself 2x more than before, not that I wasn't! It's nice to see my belly expanding, but what a job in the mornings to get dressed! Must get clothes!!! I just wish to feel those butterfly feeling, can't wait!

Hey, I can officially now speak. You've only heard my thoughts, but now hear my voice! Are you ready to rock!? I'm 3.42 inches (8.7cm) long and weigh 'bout 1.52 ounces (43 grams) - approximately the weight of a letter! My bones are getting stronger and I'm now producing boy-hormones or girl-hormones (you're not gonna find out though, it's a surprise 'till the end)

Last week Monday was Pixi's b-day, but also a very special anniversary. It was their wedding anniversary. Daddy took her on a surprize weekend away, and I could feel how happy and relaxed they were. It was also so nice to eat special breakfasts and lunches, and Dad even made supper every evening! Just want to say that I just loved coming along, I also really liked it, thanx for the surprize dad!

This is Pixi's other three sisters, my aunts! We went to visit them this weekend, and it was so nice. I heard all three of them rubbing Pixi's belly and calling me. They even wanted me to join them in the pool - Pixi didn't want too - awh! I still need to figure out who is who, 'cause they kinda all sound the same, but plenty of time to figure it out - right!? They are the spoiling kind though, Pixi got 2 bags of cotton candy, not only one, two! Thanx for spoiling me and pixi this weekend, look forward to visit you again. Love you.

Not in a bad light, I just feel fat now. You know the stage before looking pregnant but not being able to fit into your usual clothes. I wanted to wear a light pair of jeans on Friday and though my "fat" jeans will fit, 'cause they were really too big for me. Surprise surprise, they didn't! He he, I couldn't even get the zip up, not even a little, and this is when I realised I'm really pregnant. Although my tummy doesn't appear to be so big, it is! I read this month I will be getting bigger day by day, and I can't wait to show off my boep... with my little nunu in it!

Altough Pixi's not having real cravings yet, she just loves her popsickles! Not the milky or the ice-cream ones, plain old popsickles. Last week she bought a box of eight and by the end of the evening she had already eaten 5! Yum yum... I must agree, they are very yummy in our hot weather.

I feel loved. Laying on the doctor's bed, feeling my hubby squeese my hand while he sees the baby for the first time, and hears the little heart beat for the first time. My eyes were filled with happiness and my heart was skipping a beat with emotion. I loved to see my husband's eyes filled with so much emotion and having that security of him by my side was amazing.... Today I felt loved today I felt emotion without words, today I felt my own family coming together....

This has been one hectic week for me. I know how morning sickness feels, and suddenly, I'd rather have it again, than have this stomach flu! Luckily Doctor looked at Nunu and all was well. I couldn't believe this little jelly bean with legs are so busy, you can only see hands and legs going up and down and bouncing the whole time. I almost cried, it was so amazing seeing this tiny baby inside me. Me and hubby's going for our first check up together on 27 Feb. We are so excited! Think we're going to be able to hear a little heart beat!

Pixi calls me her little strawberry, as that is how big I am now. I've even passed 2cm already, and I weigh 2grams! Yeh, I grow bigger and bigger everyday! I wish Pixi could feel me already!

Pixi Feels.... Don't want to drive in traffic

I don't want to drive in traffic anymore, you get a few different people who just drive you bonkers, while you're just going with the flow, they pitch up, and I begin to see red!!! You get these young guys, trying to make up for a lack in other departments of there life by driving a VW golf, a humagus bakkie or just a normal, but juiced up car..... I can spot them a mile away as they irritate and frustrate every driver who dares to drive too slow in front of them, even if it's peak traffic and everybody drives slow... I just get so worked up 'cause they want to practically catch a ride in your back seat, 'cause they drive on your bumper. If it's dark they put their spotlights on and blind you - to make you go faster, but with me, if I can't see where I'm driving I slow down. I even pulled over yesterday as this guy in his bakkie wanted to catch a lift again. He continued driving on all the other cars backsides so they can move.... and at the end he pulled over to buy a duster from the hawker on the corner, isn't that just dandy! For pete's sake, all the cars he so rudely pushed over now calmly drove past him. When I went home again this guy just couldn't wait to sit on my backseat again, 'cause the lady driving in front of me was taking the turn too slow according to him, I naturally slowed down, to mister at my back's disapproving raging lights and bumber kissing!

I don't know, maybe it's just my luck to sometimes bump into these people, especially now that I'm pregnant, poor Nunu's had to put up with it quite a few times. This one lady even assaulted me twice... She will now be summond to court, as I laid a crimanal injura claim against her at the police station. This lady really had a bad case of road rage. She climbed out at a redlight and started, then she followed me till I was at the drivethrough and started again. I was so rattled! I just had to calm down for Nunu's sake, I'm so sorry for stressing and raging sometimes, I can't help it sometimes, I think I need to get a shauffeur.

This is NuNuPixi, Megan found me on the web.... a few days ago. This is such a magical and whimsical picture and I found myself in love with it from the first moment. Because you can't see if it's a boy or girl, you can only speculate, just like we can only speculate with Nunu now. We dont' want to find out, so until then this in Nunu, our NunuPixi.

This is the NunuPixi jungle, a little Nunu on my desk that Gran Cham made, thank you! Now I can look at Nunu every day.

I've been growing more and more. Hearing more and more. New things pop up every day! There's a lot of stuff going down, I tell you. Hey, here's something new, there's something new, I can't stop thinking and my heart goes boom boom boom! Pixi got such a fright the other night, even my heart was pumping overtime, luckily she calmed down before I started to bounce all round! Hey, daddy talked some more to me, gran made funny nunu sounds and Nini went gaga nunu, over and over. Aunti Meg went all bouncy on me and Gran Trudie rubbed my belly.... Pixi goes big and then edi bidy living space on me, I don't think she can make up her mind whether to give a lot or just a little space to grow in...Thank you for all the love that all of you give me, it makes me grow faster and stronger.

Pixi's living in Confusion land... Then I'm in a dream state and the next reality hits.... Is this for real. Feels like I've been in some kind of battle, I'm sore and tired, hormonal battle if you ask me... Reality has not sunk in yet, Nunu is very small. My belly want to begin to show, or is it just my imagination, or me pushing out my stomach? I've got the perfect themesong : Dreams by the Cranberries, I've been listning to it since the beginning of the year, got the cd for xmas....

Hey all, I've grown hey! I'm the size of a bb-gun bullet now! Hey, can you hear that, mmm, there it is again. Oh, it's my heart! A lot has happened in these few days. I've begun to think, yes, I can! Now I know what is happening man! I got such a fright last night, there was a loud noise, yeh, I can hear now! It turned out that we've got dogs, and they like me already 'cause they snuggle up against pixi the whole time. I just can't figure out what these things on my sides are, well, just have to wait and see.

It’s official (grumble): morning sickness has struck, last night I started with evening nausea, yeah, I thought as the reality of being pregnant started to sink in. Today.... those same nostalgia is not happening. I'm not craving anything and all smells are too much to stomach. Well, at least now I know how it feels, and I can even feel Nunu kinda telling me it's only a little while, then you're use to me! My hubby is very supportive, shame! He brought me crackers and made me spiceless 2minute noodles, he even gave me a nice large glass of ice tea. This morning I woke up with a cracker in one hand and a glass of lemon water in the other, he's so concerned about me and Nunu... "Are you going to be ok? Sorry that I have to leave so early" He felt so guilty going to work today, he is a star, and I wouldn't make it if it wasn't for all his love and support!

Hey, it's me! NuNu, huh, what's a NuNu? I'm a NuNu, named by my aunti, and luv the sound of it. I'm not a boy or girl yet, so I'm just a NuNu. This is how I look like now... a 3mm me.... Well.... I live in a dark warm watery place (aka the Pixi's womb) and like to bounce around a lot 'cause there's a lot of space. I've almost got the heart thing going so all things are on track... Pixi just found out on Monday that I'm going to be gracing her presence for 35 odd weeks, and I could feel her exitement. Think it's gonna be a fun ride!
